The Noble Cacao Cocktail
Ingredients
½ oz Water
½ oz Maple Syrup
1 oz Cocoa Powder
¼ oz Salt
8 oz Milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 ½ oz Bourbon
Marshmallows for Garnish
Method
Stir together water, maple syrup, cocoa powder, and salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and slowly whisk in milk. Cook for 5 minutes until milk is hot; do not boil. Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes. Stir in vanilla extract. Add Bourbon into mug, top with hot chocolate and serve.
