First Trees Planted

Small Tree Sapling

Seattle’s finest bartenders, Noble Oak , Young’s Market Co., Mountain to Sound Greenway Trust, and OneTreePlanted.org came together to plant over 450 trees. Rising early in the morning the group boarded the Big Woody bus to the historic Tollgate Farm Park bellow the beautiful Mt. Si. There the group planted Fir & Spruce Trees along the trail reforesting the area to its more natural condition. This planting is one of many actions that the Mountain to Sound Greenway trust takes in their mission of conserving and enhancing the landscape from Seattle across the Cascade Mountains to Central Washington, ensuring a long-term balance between people and nature.
